THE PROPOSED CHANGES EXISTING SERVICE TO BE DISCONTINUED:

In an effort to provide the best service and use taxpayer dollars wisely, RTA proposes discontinuing trips with low ridership on several routes. Many of these trips are early morning or late evening trips with low ridership. The removal of these underperforming trips would provide RTA with the resources to expand service where it’s needed most.

Route 9: The 5:50 a.m. weekend northbound trip departing Highway 74 and Cambern Avenue and the 6:35 a.m. weekend southbound trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center.
Route 18: The 6:32 a.m. weekend northbound trip departing the Moreno Valley Mall.
Route 21: The 8:46 p.m. weekday southbound trip departing the Jurupa Valley/Pedley Metrolink Station.
Route 28: The 4:25 a.m. weekday eastbound trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center.
Route 30 Loop: The 8:30 p.m. weekday trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center.
Route 74: The 4:44 a.m. weekday westbound trip departing the Hemet Valley Mall.

NEW SERVICE TO BE OFFERED:

Route 1: A new late-night weekend eastbound trip departing Smith Avenue and 6th Street and a new late-night weekend westbound trip departing UCR at Bannockburn to increase span of service in response to growing demand.
